Donald Phoenix

Don Phoenix is the Southern District Director of NeighborWorks of America (NeighborWorks).  NeighborWorks is a congressionally-chartered non-profit community development organization that is dedicated to improving distressed communities throughout the country through a network of 240 neighborhood-based community revitalization organizations in 50 states.

Called NeighborWorks Organizations, most of these 220 community revitalization organizations are located in lower-income communities.  Many are located in neighborhoods that are severely distressed as such term is defined by the CDFI Fund.
