John Talmage is the Chief Executive of Social Compact, a coalition of business leaders from across the country who are promoting successful business investment in lower-income communities for the benefit of current residents.


Social Compact works closely with community and corporate leaders by offering neighborhood market analysis services to local governments, community organizations and businesses looking to attract investment or to invest in inner-cities.  They bring an understanding of inner-city markets and create accurate, business-oriented profiles of these neighborhoods, which in turn catalyzes sustainable, private investment which benefits communities and businesses alike.  This creates safer, healthier neighborhoods in which to live and do business.
