TKC Retail Centers

HRV made loans to two projects in the total amount of $9,700,000 to fund the renovation of retail developments in Pounding Mill, VA and Wilkesboro, NC.

These projects generated approximately 225 temporary construction jobs and 150 permanent jobs, as well as local property tax and sales tax revenue for the small towns to put towards public school or social services budgets.

The retail developments are by a Lowe’s Grocery store and a Tractor Supply store. Both locations offer low-cost farm and ranch equipment to benefit the local agricultural community, and the Wilkesboro location is in close proximity to a Transit stop to help residents travel to the shopping center more easily.
